Welcome to The Welcome Mat
We want to give you a magazine that is all bare-arms and knees, scuffed palms and bruised elbows. We want to give you art and literature, those things put out into the world with hooks on them, the kind that catch your shirt or jeans when you walk by, those things made of old teeth and thread, those things you left on that shelf in your closet. This is a place for those things. And we want to give them to you, for you to leave them with us.
We want to give you a magazine that is lovely in that it’s flawed and hurt and sometimes afraid to show those things but still tries none-the-less to be honest about it.
